    Friday Flag, Donuts w/Grown Ups and Rush Coffee Truck!

    Join us at 8:25 AM Friday, August 29th

     
    Kick off the new school year with us on Friday, August 28th! We’re bringing back two favorite campus traditions to celebrate the start of another amazing year together at Pomerado Elementary.
    • Rush Coffee Truck: Start your morning right! Grab a coffee from the Rush Coffee Truck starting at 8:15 AM in the upper parking lot before joining us on campus.  
    • Donuts with Grown-Ups: Enjoy a sweet morning treat! Join us for fresh donuts and great conversation with fellow parents, staff, and friends at 8:25 AM.  
    • First Friday Flag of the Year: Gather with us for our very first Friday Flag assembly of the year (8:45 AM) as we share campus updates, boost school spirit, and celebrate our awesome Wildcats!  
    Bring your appetite, grab your morning brew, and help us kick off the school year on a high note. We can't wait to see all of our families there!

    Save The Date: 5th Grade Booster Night!

    Get ready to kick off the school year with a sweet treat while supporting our 5th graders!

     
    Join us for our very first 5th Grade Booster Night of the season.
     
    Event Details:
    Date: Thursday, August 27, 2026
    Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    Location: Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream (Carmel Mountain)

    Whether you're stopping by right after school drop-off or grabbing a mid-afternoon scoop, 20% of all purchases made during event hours will go directly toward funding 5th grade activities, promotion events, and end-of-year celebrations.
    Bring your family, meet up with classmates, and treat yourself—every scoop helps!

Announcements

For our families with TK or Kindergarten students

Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, all TK and kindergarten students will begin full-day schedules on the first day of school along with the grade 1-5 students. This means there will no longer be half-day “Kindergarten Introduction Days” during the first six weeks. TK and Kindergarten students will attend school all day and follow the same start/end times as 1st - 5th grade students.
