Dear Families,

We are excited to launch our new online volunteer application for the school year! If you’re interested in volunteering on campus this year — whether in the classroom, at events, or on field trips — you’ll need to complete the new online application before participating.

👉 Here’s what to do:

  1. Visit http://bit.ly/3KaZjE1 to access the application or use the QR code. (Please note that the link and QR code are unique for Pomerado.)
  1. Complete all required sections and upload all requested documents. Applications will be denied if ID is expired or TB is not within 4 years.
  2. Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Volunteer applications need to be submitted every year — even if you were cleared last year. If you were a Level II volunteer last year, you’ll need to complete a Level I application this year to renew your status.

If you turned in a TB test previously, you can pick it up from the office or email us and we’ll send you a copy. TB documents are also uploaded to your student’s records and can be found in ParentVUE under student documents.

We truly appreciate your time and support in helping make our school a welcoming and enriching environment for all students. Your involvement makes a big difference!

If you have any questions about the process or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our office.

Thank you for partnering with us!

TB Testing

The law requires that TB clearance (TB skin test or TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire) be completed by a licensed health care provider.

Here are a few nearby resources where you can obtain TB clearance. There may be a fee or co-pay involved at some locations:

  •    Your primary health care provider
  •    CVS Minute Clinic, 16773 Bernardo Center Dr., Rancho Bernardo, CA 92128 or,
  •    CVS Minute Clinic, 12358 Poway Rd., Poway, CA 92064
  •    Neighborhood Health Clinic, 460 N. Elm St., Escondido, CA 92025, 760-520-8100, Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 1:00-4:00, Wednesday: 2:30-4:00
  •   Public Health Center, 649 West Mission Ave, Suite 2, Escondido, CA 92025, 619-692-5565

Proof of TB clearance is mandated for volunteers working in public schools. Please submit written TB clearance signed by your health care provider to your school site.

Volunteer Reminders

Individuals will not be allowed to volunteer until notified by the school site that they are cleared to begin.
When you come to volunteer, please sign in and out. All volunteers at each of our school sites are required to sign in at the office and put on a name tag. You must do this each day you volunteer. This helps us identify people on our campus and helps keep our kids safe. Thank you for remembering to do this!
